Water Softener - 12 L

Hard water contains dissolved minerals. Calcium and magnesium ions are responsible for limescale deposits, which pose a risk of malfunction for machines and equipment that come into contact with water or steam. Water softening is achieved by exchanging the calcium and magnesium ions that constitute water hardness with sodium ions in a process called ion exchange. This exchange is carried out using a resin contained in a column.

Calcium and magnesium ions are absorbed by the resin. After a certain period, the resin becomes saturated and needs to be restored with a regeneration process to recharge the resin with sodium (salt solution). The Water Softener can be installed anywhere where the water temperature is below 45°C and the water pressure does not exceed 2 bars. Regeneration: non-iodized salt only.

Suitable only for drinking water. This water softener is compatible with coffee machines, combination ovens, dishwashers, and ice machines. Its small size is very practical for bars and restaurants. The parts used are of the highest quality and allow the device to operate safely for a long time.

Optimal operating pressure: 1-2 bar. The connected device cannot be used during regeneration.
Maximum/minimum water pressure: from 1 to 8 bar.
Flow rate: 1000L/h
Ambient temperature: from 4°C to 35°C.
Water temperature: from 4°C to 25°C.
Connection: 3/8”.

Installation must be managed by experienced personnel, especially for connections to the dishwasher and water.
The supplied fittings may not be compatible with the existing installation. Other fittings and accessories may be required.
